Point Eight (Dialogue puzzles): I don't see why this particular one would have changed, apart if the team just didn't find a good enough idea in order to do it again. Point Seven (Physical release): I think this will happen, albeit in an even more limited capacity than it would have in 2013, and probably after release. Point Six (Full on inventory with images): This one is a given in any modern adventure game. He already did a modern game with verbs, and he'll want to try something new, same as with the art-style. But I think that's why my bet is that RtMI won't have them.

Point Five (Losing the verbs): So this could go either way because Thimbleweed had verbs. But I don't think 2022 Ron Gilbert is as against hint systems as he was in the past. I expect something similar as what was added to Thimbleweed Park after release: a hint system available through a specific item or character. Now, I don't think they are going to implement a hint system available at the press of a button as in the Special Editions. Point Four (Hard game with no hints): My personal bet is that this one is gone as well. (I for one really like what we saw in the trailer, having grown up with the special editions a cartoony-looking MI is natural for me.) However, it is still 2D, that part holds true. Clearly Gilbert got that type of retro art-style out of his system with Thimbleweed Park and wants to try something more modern. Point Three (Retro 2D art style): I would say this point is partially out the window from the art style seen in the trailer alone.
